1. Create a Unique Slideshow
While TikTok comes with slideshow templates, it can be a lot more fun to make your own. All you need to do is film your intro as you normally would, and then you go to “Effects” and click “Green Screen.”
Then, choose an image from your camera roll that you want to use as your background. This way, the picture you choose will fill the entire screen. Then, you can film and release along with audio or music.
You can then repeat this process to complete your slideshow, going back to the green screen each time you want to add a new image. Creating a unique slideshow with your own images may help you get more TikTok followers.
2. Use Songs from Other TikTok Videos
If you stumble across a sound or song on TikTok that you just have to have, you can easily add them to your own videos. When you find a sound you like, just tap on the record icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Then, a screen will come up that shows all of the videos that have used this sound. To put the sound in your own video, click “use this sound” at the bottom of the screen.
You’ll then be taken to your TikTok recording screen. As you begin to record your video, the sound will play so you can make a lip-sync video or do whatever you wish with the sound.
3. Hide Your Liked Videos
By default, all other TikTok users can see the videos you’ve liked on TikTok. If you want to keep this private, you can hide what you’ve liked on the platform.
Go to the “Me” screen and tap on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the screen. Then, tap on “Privacy and Safety” and scroll down to “Who can view your liked videos.”
Then, you can set it to “only me” so no one else can see what you like.
